Overview
For more than 15 years FH Aachen has awarded Deutschlandstipendien to high-performing and engaged students. Scholars receive EUR 300 monthly for one year starting in the winter semester (1 October), plus a network with a matched sponsor, exclusive workshops, company visits and networking events. Repeated application is possible, so the scholarship can be held multiple times, potentially across the whole study period. Awarding is independent of income and BAfoeG; double funding combined with other scholarship providers (Begabtenfoerderwerke, DAAD) is excluded.

Eligibility Requirements
- Enrolled FH Aachen students, plus applicants about to start a programme at FH Aachen in the winter semester who have applied or are applying for a study place. Standard period of study must be maintained
- ideally at least two remaining semesters from the funding start
- extension requests possible in exceptional cases (parenthood, disability, subject-related stay abroad). Around 101-120 scholarships are donated per year.
