Overview
The Deutschlandstipendium supports high-achieving and socially committed students of all departments at Hochschule Trier with EUR 300 per month for one year (normally two semesters). Beyond financial support, the programme builds a network of private sponsors, alumni and scholarship holders supported by university events; some sponsors invite students to their companies or offer internships. Selection follows the university statutes: 75 percent of points come from grades, 5 percent academic aptitude, 10 percent social commitment and 10 percent personal circumstances (including financing studies independently, migration or refugee background, health restrictions, caring responsibilities, children or first-generation academics). Funding starts each winter semester; applications open during the preceding summer semester.
