Monthly EUR 300 scholarship (half federal funds, half private donors) for motivated, socially engaged and high-performing students; initially granted for one year and extendable up to the standard period of study subject to performance. Not offset against BAfoeG. Several sponsored slots carry donor-specific criteria, e.g. regional anchoring after graduation, social hardship, proven social engagement, or affiliation with specific faculties (IT, electrical engineering/renewable energies, business, tourism); one sponsored slot requires fluent German (min C1) plus regional engagement. Call usually published in July; committee decision by end of October; award ceremony mid-November.
