Overview
HSB has participated since 2011; private sponsors fund 150 EUR per month which the federal government doubles to a 300 EUR monthly scholarship. Selection rewards good grades plus willingness to take on responsibility and overcoming hurdles in one's educational path. In funding round 25/26, 27 sponsors enable 85 student scholarships. Funding runs from the start of winter semester (1 October) to end of summer semester (30 September), with re-application possible thereafter.
