Admissions & fees

What it costs

Allensbach is a private distance-learning university and charges programme fees. There is no tuition-free public-university status. The Baden-Württemberg non-EU surcharge (€1,500/semester) does not apply here because Allensbach is a private institution with its own fee schedule. Indicative fees: Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Business Administration - €375/month over 36 months standard duration (total ~€13,500). MBA General Management - €8,280 (12-month/60 ECTS), €10,620 (18-month/90 ECTS), or €14,160 (24-month/120 ECTS). Master of Arts / Master of Science programmes are priced comparably to the MBA range. Fees include all digital study materials, online examinations, seminars, and personal academic support. No separate semester contribution (Semesterbeitrag) is listed.

Admission requirements

Bachelor's admission requires a German Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, or equivalent foreign upper-secondary qualification. An alternative pathway is available for applicants with at least two years of vocational training in a relevant field plus three years of professional experience and a passed aptitude examination (Eignungsprüfung). Master's and MBA programmes require a first university degree of at least 6 semesters / 180 ECTS; MBA programmes additionally require at least one year of professional experience (three years for the executive variant). English proficiency at B2 level is required for Master/MBA admission (certificate or short online assessment). Indian, Chinese, and Vietnamese applicants whose prior qualification was obtained in those countries must hold an APS certificate before applying for a German student visa - Allensbach itself does not mention APS on its website, but the requirement is imposed by the German consulate as a visa precondition. Students can start at any time; no fixed application deadlines are stated. International students outside the EU incur a €10/month surcharge for physical study-material shipping; online exam sittings are offered in alternative time slots to accommodate different time zones.

Application deadlines

Rolling admissions: because it is a distance-learning institution, enrolment can take place at any time and studies can begin whenever the student chooses; examinations are offered on 12 dates per year.

How international applicants apply

Direct application - no uni-assist: enrolment is done with the university's own registration form (sent on request by email or downloaded from the Bewerberportal at portal.allensbach-hochschule.de); rolling admissions, no fixed deadlines, no uni-assist or VPD step documented on the official application page.

Languages of instruction

All Bachelor/Master/MBA programmes run as German-language distance-learning courses; the MBA General Management is additionally offered as an English-language online MBA ('MBA in English Language').

Entry requirements, intake dates and language levels differ for every degree.
