APOLLON Hochschule der Gesundheitswirtschaft

APOLLON accepts applicants with a German Abitur or equivalent school-leaving certificate, and also offers an admission route without Abitur for professionally experienced applicants (beruflich Qualifizierte). No numerus clausus (NC) restrictions apply. Because all programmes are delivered by distance learning and applicants do not physically study in Germany, the standard German student-visa and APS-certificate requirements that apply to on-campus international students may not apply in the same way - prospective international students should clarify residency and visa status directly with the university and the relevant German consulate. Study materials are shipped to EU and most non-EU countries; exams can be taken online or at Goethe Institutes and consulates worldwide.

There are no application deadlines and no semester dates: because APOLLON runs no semester operation, enrolment via online registration is possible at any time of year and students can start any day. Admission follows Bremen state higher-education law, with no NC; bachelor programmes can even be joined without Abitur via an aptitude route. Exams can be taken online or at one of 11 exam centres in the German-speaking region.

Direct enrolment via APOLLON's own Online-Anmeldung on apollon-hochschule.de - uni-assist, VPD and hochschulstart play no role. Foreign higher-education entrance qualifications are accepted subject to an individual recognition check ('gleichwertige auslaendische Hochschulzugangsberechtigung, Pruefung der Anerkennung ggf. noetig'). There is no NC; distance learning means students can start at any time and study from almost any country - study materials are shipped worldwide and exams can be taken at centres across Germany plus Vienna and Zurich, or at Goethe-Instituts anywhere in the world.
