About Frankfurt School of Finance & Management

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is a private, state-recognised business school founded in 1957 as Bankakademie e.V. in Frankfurt am Main, Hessen. It specialises exclusively in finance, banking, management, economics, and data science, and is one of a small number of business schools worldwide to hold the Triple Crown of accreditations: AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA.

As of 2024 the school enrolls approximately 3,248 students in its degree programmes, with roughly 9,000 additional participants in executive education annually. Its main campus, relocated in 2017 to Adickesallee 32-34 in Frankfurt's Nordend district, is complemented by study locations in Hamburg (HafenCity), Munich, and Düsseldorf. Pre-experience master's programmes are taught entirely in English; bachelor's programmes begin in either German or English before switching to full English from the fourth semester.

Frankfurt School is a fee-charging private institution: bachelor's tuition runs €8,200 per semester and master's programmes (e.g. Master of Finance) cost €42,000 in total. It does not operate on the German public-university free-tuition model. The school ranks among Germany's top business schools by the Financial Times and Times Higher Education for employability and programme quality.
