Ostfalia Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften (Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences) is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in the German state of Lower Saxony. Its predecessor institutions date to 1853 (Suderburg), 1905 (Braunschweig), and 1928 (Wolfenbüttel); the institution became a Fachhochschule in 1971 and adopted the Ostfalia name in September 2009. As of Winter Semester 2025/26 it enrolls 10,209 students across 4 campuses.

The university offers 71 bachelor's and 31 master's programmes across 12 faculties, covering engineering, computer science, business, law, social work, healthcare, and the natural sciences. It maintains over 100 international university partnerships across all continents. Ostfalia emphasises small learning groups, practical project-based teaching, and close cooperation with regional and national industry partners.

Bachelor's applications for international students are processed through uni-assist; master's applications go directly through Ostfalia's own online portal (cmo.ostfalia.de). Applicants from India, China, and Vietnam must additionally hold a valid APS certificate before applying.
