Steinbeis Hochschule GmbH

Steinbeis Hochschule GmbH is a private university; it is not tuition-free. Tuition fees are set individually by each of the six partner schools and are not published on the central university website. For bachelor's admission, a valid higher education entrance qualification is required — this includes the German Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, equivalent foreign school-leaving certificates, or completion of at least two years of vocational training in a related field plus three years of professional experience. For master's admission, a first university or higher education degree is required (minimum 180 ECTS for bachelor's route); continuing-education master's programmes additionally require at least one year of relevant professional experience. Where language proficiency is required for a specific programme, an internationally recognised certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, or Cambridge) must be provided — specific score thresholds are set at programme level by the individual partner schools. No centralised APS requirement is mentioned on the university's website; Indian, Chinese, and Vietnamese applicants should nonetheless confirm APS obligations with the German consulate and the relevant partner school before applying, as this is a German statutory requirement independent of the university. Applications are submitted directly to the responsible partner school, not to Steinbeis Hochschule GmbH centrally.

German-taught bachelor's programmes and English-taught master's programmes are both available, depending on the partner school and specific programme. The Berlin-based Steinbeis University – Schools of Next Practices explicitly offers German-language bachelor's and English-language master's programmes. Other partner schools vary; applicants should verify the language of instruction with the relevant partner.
