Exception: applicants to the Bachelor's programmes in Gymnasiallehramt (Gymnasium teaching degree, incl. Jazz/Popularmusik broadening subject) and Musik und Bewegung, and to the Master's programme in Musikwissenschaft (musicology), must already hold a B2 certificate before the entrance exam (Aufnahmepruefung) itself.
