For GERMAN-taught majors the English requirement is lower: TOEFL iBT >= 60, IELTS Academic >= 4.5, Cambridge B2 First >= 160, TOEIC L&R >= 650 / S&W >= 280, PTE >= 50, or 30 ECTS taught in English.

German-taught College majors require German proof WITH the application: DSH >= 2; TestDaF >= 16 points total with minimum 4 in each section; DSD II; Goethe-Zertifikat C2 (Grosses Deutsches Sprachdiplom); telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule or C2; passed Feststellungspruefung at a Studienkolleg; a fully German-taught degree; IB Diploma German A HL >= 6.0; European Baccalaureate German L1/L2 >= 8.0; other KMK/HRK-recognised proofs. Conditional admission possible with Goethe C1 or DSH-1: valid until end of 2nd subject semester with mandatory DSH preparation course and DSH-2 pass, otherwise de-registration.
