Overview
Each academic year LUH awards Deutschlandstipendien to both first-year students and higher-semester students; recipients receive EUR 300 monthly over two semesters. German and international students and applicants may all apply. Selection considers academic performance plus social criteria such as social or political engagement, financial need, educational upward mobility, special personal backgrounds, awards and prizes - applicants who do not meet every criterion are still invited to apply. LUH has awarded more than 1,000 scholarships since joining the programme in 2011. The application window for 2026/27 runs from 10 August to 30 September 2026 via the online portal.
