Overview
The Deutschlandstipendium at TU Berlin supports high-performing, socially committed students of all nationalities and disciplines. Scholarships pay EUR 300 monthly, co-financed half by federal funds and half by private sponsors (companies, foundations, alumni and friends of TU Berlin). Awards are made each winter semester; students typically apply online from mid-June to mid-July stating school and university grades, internships, stays abroad, awards and voluntary engagement. Funding is initially granted for two semesters and can be renewed by re-application up to the standard period of study. In the 2025/26 funding period, 123 scholarships were awarded; approx. 120 expected for 2026/27.
