Overview
The Deutschlandstipendium supports talented FU students of all nations and backgrounds with EUR 300 per month so they can concentrate on their studies; half comes from the Federal Government and half from a private sponsor. Around 60 new scholarships (subject-bound and open) are expected in the 2026/27 funding year. An accompanying programme and the Ernst-Reuter-Gesellschaft chapter network are included.

Eligibility Requirements
- Enrollment at Freie Universitaet Berlin within the standard time to degree during the funding period, or a letter of acceptance to start a degree program at FU. Scholarships always start in the winter semester
- applications are submitted electronically during the annual window (for FY 2026/27: 16 July - 13 August 2026).
