Overview

National scholarship co-funded by the German Federal Government and private sponsors. For academic year 2026/2027 seven scholarships are awarded to students demonstrating outstanding academic performance plus strong personal commitment (social engagement, leadership, community involvement, overcoming personal challenges, extracurricular achievement). Granted irrespective of income; may be combined with BAfoeG, Erasmus+ and Kindergeld where compatible.
