Overview
The largest scholarship programme at KIT: all funds are raised through dedicated fundraising from alumni, private individuals, companies, foundations and associations, then doubled by the federal government. In December 2024 alone, 345 KIT students received the award. Faculty juries select recipients considering very good grades as well as extra points for social and academic engagement or overcoming personal hurdles. Applicants indicate a desired sponsor cooperation, creating direct networking opportunities with companies. Income- and parent-independent; not offset against BAfoeG.
