Overview
For the final phase of studies, the JLU International Office awards partial scholarships to international students in bachelor's, master's or state examination programmes. Funding runs 3-6 months at EUR 300-450 per month, starting October or November 2026. The scholarship commission decides on awards considering academic achievements, social situation, professors' assessments and social or intercultural commitment. Funds are limited; recipients may not hold another scholarship for the same purpose.

Eligibility Requirements
- Enrolled at JLU pursuing a full degree
- in final phase (max 12 months before graduation) with at least half the required credits gained (e.g. 90 ECTS bachelor, 60 ECTS master)
- staying in Germany during funding
- no parallel scholarship for same purpose
- requires CV, report on social situation, enrolment certificate, financing proof, transcript and two qualified reviews from JLU professors/postdocs plus a personal interview
