Overview
Grants for international students enrolled at the Universitaet Augsburg who did not obtain a German higher education entrance qualification. Aimed at advanced students (from the second semester in Augsburg at the earliest) with sufficient study records for assessment. Awarded twice a year for the periods February-July and September-January; maximum funding duration three years; renewal requires a new application. Criteria: academic aptitude (very good grades), personal qualification and financial need; interviews possible. Students entitled to BAfoeG under §8 are excluded from this scheme. Additionally, DAAD-funded completion grants are awarded in the first half of the year for students finishing within one year.
