Overview
The HHU funding programme is aimed at high-achieving students of all faculties; all students can be funded from the first bachelor semester through to completing a master degree or state examination. Based on the matching procedure, each scholarship holder receives EUR 300 per month. Beyond money, scholars take part in events with their benefactors, gaining insights into science as well as social, cultural and economic life in the Duesseldorf region. With support of 109 companies, foundations and private individuals, HHU supports 476 scholarship holders this year - more than any other university in North Rhine-Westphalia, investing roughly EUR 1.7 million.

Eligibility Requirements
High-achieving students enrolled at HHU (international students eligible if enrolled). Special funding lines exist for education climbers ('Bildungsaufsteiger', requiring maximum BAfoeG entitlement) and students with at least one minor child.
