Admission requirements
The current programme (Berufspädagogik im Gesundheitswesen) is zulassungsfrei - no Numerus Clausus applies and admission does not depend on Abitur grades, though available places are limited. Applicants require a qualifying entry credential (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung or equivalent) and a relevant professional employment or training contract in healthcare, as the programme is work-integrated. German language proficiency at an appropriate level is required. APS certificate required for applicants from India, China, or Vietnam. Application deadlines
Each programme admits once a year with roughly 30 places: winter-semester intake for Ergotherapie, Pflege, Physiotherapie, Management in Organisationen des Gesundheitswesens and Berufspädagogik im Gesundheitswesen; summer-semester intake for Soziale Arbeit (Soziale Gerontologie). Applicants need a higher education entrance qualification plus an employment or practice contract with a BAGSS cooperation partner, and programme fees are charged.
How international applicants apply
Application process for international applicants is not documented on the official website. The bagss.de domain has redirected to SHG Bildung / shg-kliniken.de since at least mid-2023. Per the archived official page: BAGSS was founded 2012 with practice-integrated programmes in the health and social sector, and since 1 January 2021 most of its study programmes were transferred to FOM Hochschule für Oekonomie & Management, which took over the study contracts as new contracting party (only 'Berufspädagogik im Gesundheitswesen' remained with BAGSS).
