Admissions & fees

What it costs

No tuition fee information is published on the official website. As a state-recognised institution in Lower Saxony (not Baden-Württemberg or Bavaria), the standard non-EU surcharge does not apply under current Lower Saxony regulations. Students are advised to confirm any semester contribution or administrative fee directly with the academy.

Admission requirements

Admission requires a recognised German university entrance qualification (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung) or equivalent. The institution operates without a numerus clausus (no grade cut-off). Applicants must first secure a training contract with an approved regional practice partner (employer); the application is submitted to the employer, not directly to the academy. International applicants from India, China, or Vietnam must hold an APS certificate before applying for a German student visa. Specific language requirements are not published on the official site - contact the academy directly.

Application deadlines

There is no central application deadline: applicants first secure a place with an approved practice partner, conclude a study/training contract with that partner, and then submit their documents to the Berufsakademie. New students can start in both the winter and the summer semester.

How international applicants apply

dual model via partner company - candidates apply directly to their chosen practice partner (Praxispartner); after concluding the study contract (Studienvertrag) and qualification contract (Qualifizierungsvertrag) with that employer, documents are submitted to the Berufsakademie, which issues the letter of admission (Zulassungsbescheinigung). uni-assist is not used or documented anywhere on the official site.

Languages of instruction

German (all programmes taught in German)

Entry requirements, intake dates and language levels differ for every degree.
