The Fachhochschule der Polizei Sachsen-Anhalt (FH Polizei SA) is a state police university of applied sciences located in Aschersleben, Saxony-Anhalt. It serves as the central institution for police training, academic study, and continuing professional development for the Saxony-Anhalt state police (Landespolizei).
The institution offers a structured pathway: a 2.5-year vocational training programme (Laufbahngruppe 1.2) and a 3-year Bachelor's degree programme (Laufbahngruppe 2.1) — the latter introduced in September 2010 — as well as a Master's programme (Laufbahngruppe 2.2). All programmes lead to a career in the Saxony-Anhalt police service. The FH also coordinates central continuing education for active police personnel across the state.

Tuition & fees
No tuition fees — trainees and students are civil-servant candidates (Beamtenanwärter) employed by the state of Saxony-Anhalt and receive a salary (Anwärterbezüge) during their training and studies. Standard university semester contributions do not apply.
Admission requirements
Admission is not open to the general public or to international students in the conventional sense. Candidates must apply directly to the Saxony-Anhalt state police via the official recruitment process (Eignungsauswahlverfahren — EAV), which includes a police medical examination and athletic fitness assessment. Selection is by the state employer, not a standard university admissions office. German citizenship or an equivalent status permitting police employment in Germany is a prerequisite. APS certificate (required for Indian, Chinese, and Vietnamese applicants in standard German university admissions) is not applicable here, as this institution does not participate in general international higher education admissions.
