International applicants must hold a higher education entrance qualification recognised under German anabin standards. Hochschule Koblenz (University of Applied Sciences; distinct from the University of Koblenz, which is separately listed) appears on uni-assist's official member list with three campuses (Koblenz, Hoehr-Grenzhausen, Remagen). Its admission page states that anyone whose university entrance qualification was acquired abroad MUST apply via uni-assist, which checks foreign certificates against the ZAB assessment proposals and issues the evaluation notice; the full application (including proof of the uni-assist processing fee payment, APS certificate for China/Mongolia/Vietnam applicants) is sent directly to uni-assist, and Hochschule Koblenz then decides on admission. The primary language of instruction is German. The RheinAhrCampus Remagen runs a dedicated International Programs section offering courses and activities in English. Some master's programmes are available in English or have English-language components; prospective students should verify individual programme language requirements on the university website. German language courses (Deutschkurse) and workshops are provided by the International Office for enrolled international students.
