Required documents per the official admission page: certified secondary education certificate (plus tertiary certificates if applicable), English proficiency TOEFL iBT min. 72 / IELTS min. 6.0 / equivalent incl. Burlington VTest, motivation letter and passport copy; school leaving certificates from outside Bavaria must be officially approved as equivalent where necessary. No uni-assist, VPD, APS-forwarding or Studienkolleg step appears on the official admission pages and Macromedia University is not a uni-assist member university (the similarly named 'Media University of Applied Sciences (HMKW)' on that list is a different institution).

Programmes are taught in German and English. English-medium bachelor's and master's degrees are available at the Berlin and Munich campuses, covering disciplines such as Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Brand Management, Business Management, Media and Communication Management, and several MBA tracks.
