About Touro Berlin
Touro University Berlin is a private, non-profit American campus in Berlin operated by Touro University Berlin gGmbH as part of the Touro University system headquartered in New York (founded 1970). Established as Touro College Berlin in the winter semester 2003/04 after preparatory work begun in 2001, it was renamed Touro University Berlin in 2022 when Touro College New York was granted university status. It occupies a historic Bauhaus villa ensemble at Am Rupenhorn 5 in the Charlottenburg district, acquired from the Berlin government in 2003. Degrees are US degrees awarded under Touro University's institutional accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE); the programs are endorsed by the Berlin Senate, making them recognized in Germany and qualifying students for German student visas. Teaching follows an American liberal-arts and business model, entirely in English, with small classes (advertised average 9:1 student-faculty ratio). The portfolio covers bachelor's level (BSc Business Management and Administration with Finance/Management/Marketing concentrations and optional Psychology minor; BA Psychology since 2013; BSc Cybersecurity since fall 2024) and master's level (MBA since 2010; MA Holocaust Communication and Tolerance since 2007 through the Lander Institute for Communication and Tolerance founded after Dr. Lander's 2005 visit to the Holocaust Memorial; MA Psychology and MS Data Analytics listed for recent intakes).

Admissions & fees
What it costs
Private tuition as published on the program pages: EUR 5,900 per semester full-time or EUR 3,500 per semester part-time, plus a one-off onboarding fee of EUR 450 and an administration fee of EUR 300 per semester; the site notes these are indicative and refers applicants to the Schedule of Fees issued by Admissions.
Admission requirements
Applications are made via an online portal with two intakes per year. Undergraduate applicants submit a high-school leaving certificate (e.g. Abitur, IB, IGCSE, Baccalaureate) with grades, CV, motivation letter, academic reference, passport photo and passport/ID copy; non-native English speakers demonstrate proficiency with IELTS (minimum 6.5 overall) or TOEFL (minimum 79), taken within the last two years, unless they completed an English-language school curriculum. The MBA requires a first degree but no business major and no work experience. There is no German NC (numerus clausus) and no German language requirement; admitted international students qualify for a German student visa.
Application deadlines
20 January for the spring intake; 20 August for the fall intake, extendable to 3 September (e.g. for visa reasons); early admission is possible and encouraged.
How international applicants apply
No uni-assist documented on any official Touro Berlin channel. The college runs its own US-style admissions process: direct application via Touro Berlin's online portal or the Admissions Office ([email protected], post to Am Rupenhorn 5, 14055 Berlin) with school-leaving certificate/transcript, CV, motivation letter, one academic reference, English proficiency (IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 79-80 or PTE 58; no German required), EUR 30/50 fee and an entrance interview. If equivalency of a secondary certificate cannot be evaluated internally, an official evaluation from a NACES-member agency (naces.org/members) may be requested - not uni-assist.
Languages of instruction
All instruction is in English; no German language certificate is required for any program.

Campuses & locations
Am Rupenhorn 5, 14055 Berlin - historic Bauhaus villa ensemble designed by Bruno Paul in the Charlottenburg district
Living in Berlin
Berlin is Germany's capital and largest city, home to a large international community, a dense cultural landscape and a strong start-up economy. The campus lies in leafy Charlottenburg near the Havel river, within reach of museums, employers and other universities across the city.
Student life & support
Touro Berlin does not operate its own student housing; new students are advised by the Admissions Office on finding accommodation in Berlin's rental market. On campus students use the library and the Counseling & Coaching Center launched in 2024/25, can join the Mentoring Program (launched fall 2025) that matches business students with executives from finance, healthcare, law and venture capital, and study in the small-community setting of the villa campus. A summer semester fast-track, a summer school and the option to spend one semester at Touro's Times Square campus in New York without changing tuition round out campus life.
