VWA-Hochschule für berufsbegleitendes Studium was a private, state-recognised university of applied sciences based in Stuttgart and Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg, specialising exclusively in part-time, work-accompanying degree programmes for working professionals.
The institution began teaching in summer 2014 and over its ten-year lifespan awarded 633 bachelor degrees: 555 in Business Administration (B.A.) and 78 in Industrial Engineering (B.Eng.). It was operated as a GmbH jointly by three regional VWA bodies — VWA Freiburg, VWA Baden (Karlsruhe), and Württembergische VWA (Stuttgart).
The university lost its state recognition and ceased all academic operations on 1 May 2024. Archival records and certificate enquiries are now handled by Württembergische Verwaltungs- und Wirtschafts-Akademie e.V. (contact: [email protected]). The institution no longer accepts new students.
