Duolingo English Test is not listed as accepted. Secondary school qualifications from Australia, Canada (except Quebec/New Brunswick), the USA (High School Diploma), UK/International GCE A-Levels, Ireland, New Zealand, and Scotland, or a university degree from Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, Canada (except Quebec/New Brunswick), New Zealand, or the USA, also satisfy the requirement. Applicants holding a different certificate are told to contact INU for individual review.

German Language

German is not required for INU's English-taught programmes. For INU's German-taught programmes, international applicants must prove German proficiency via one of (quoted from the official German admission-requirements page): "DSH-2"; "TestDaF mit mindestens Niveau 4 in allen Prufungsteilen" (TestDaF, minimum level 4 in all sections); "Feststellungsprufung eines Studienkollegs" (Studienkolleg final exam); "Telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule"; "DSD II" (Deutsches Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz, Stufe II); "Goethe-Zertifikat C2"; or "OSD Zertifikat C2". Other certificates are individually reviewed on request.
