Additional Requirements

Approbation (licence to practise) in dentistry is required. Studienordnung sec. 5(1): "Fuer den Studiengang ist eine Approbation im Fach Zahnmedizin Voraussetzung."
At least one year of work as a dentist after the Approbation and before admission. Studienordnung sec. 5(1): "Ausserdem muss der Bewerber nach der Approbation und vor Zulassung zum Studium mindestens ein Jahr als Zahnarzt gearbeitet haben." DAAD states the same: "License to practise and at least 1 year of experience as a dentist".
Access to a practice or clinic (i.e. the ability to treat patients), credibly evidenced, so that the Workplace-Learning parts can be completed. Studienordnung sec. 5(2).
Places are allocated in order of receipt of the enrolment documents, subject to quotas for the participant groups (Termine page); DAAD lists the admission modus as "Without admission restriction".
