Overview

Awarded once a year for the winter semester to talented students of any nationality enrolled in an undergraduate or master's programme at Heidelberg University. Applications are fully digital via the university's online portal between 1 and 31 August for the funding period winter - summer semester. New students, transfer students and prospective master's students may apply even before receiving their study-place offer; approval requires enrolment at Heidelberg at the start of the award period. Foreign grades require conversion to the German scale (modified Bavarian formula).
