Overview
Talented students who depend on financial support are funded by the Social Scholarship. Besides financial need, criteria such as migration background, social commitment or caring and parenting responsibilities play a role in selection. Each scholarship amounts to EUR 300 monthly over at least two semesters, with private donors covering the entire amount; scholars get to know their sponsor. In the last procedure 16 Social Scholarships were awarded, plus 2 'Talentscouting meets Social Scholarship' awards funded by the Goetzen Foundation for students accompanied by NRW talent scouting.
