Living in Berlin

The university is located in Berlin, Germany's capital and largest city. The official site describes Berlin as a constantly changing city where each district ("Kiez") has its own character, with a globally recognised music, arts, nightlife, and cultural scene, plenty of green spaces, and Germany's highest concentration of startups. It is presented as having relatively affordable living and leisure costs compared with other major German cities.

Student life & support

The university maintains an International Office (head: Daniela Wolff) that supports incoming international students and participates in the Erasmus+ mobility programme, as well as a DAAD-funded initiative supporting Ukrainian students and staff. Details on housing/dormitories and German language courses are not published on the public pages and should be confirmed with the International Office.
