Admissions & fees

What it costs

Private institution: every student pays tuition. Bachelor programmes are charged at roughly EUR 3,450-3,900 per semester; the flagship BWL bachelor costs EUR 650 per month, i.e. about EUR 23,400 over the six-semester full-time model, plus a one-time EUR 100 enrolment fee. The Master in Business Administration costs EUR 690 per month (EUR 16,560 total over four semesters full-time). Third-party listings price the law (Staatsexamen) programme at around EUR 6,300 per semester. Financing via BAföG, KfW study loans and scholarships is possible.

Admission requirements

Applicants need a German Abitur or equivalent higher-education entrance qualification (HZB). Admission does not use a fixed numerus clausus; an individual interview assesses motivation, entrepreneurial thinking, and social competence. German-taught programmes require documented German at C1 level (CEFR). For exchange/incoming international students, B2 German is the minimum for German-taught courses; around 30 ECTS of English-taught modules are available without German proficiency. APS certificate is required for Indian, Chinese, and Vietnamese nationals applying for a German student visa but is not separately listed as an institutional admission gate on the BSP website. Application deadlines for exchange students: 1 June (winter semester) and 1 December (summer semester).

Application deadlines

Bachelor/master direct applicants: programmes start 1 October (winter) and 1 April (summer); specific rolling or fixed deadlines are programme-dependent - check individual programme pages or contact admissions. Exchange/incoming students: 1 June for winter semester, 1 December for summer semester.

How international applicants apply

uni-assist VPD - BSP is listed as a cooperating institution in uni-assist's official directory (#695): applicants receive a Vorpruefungsdokumentation (VPD) from uni-assist and must then submit their application together with the VPD directly to the university via BSP's own application portal (businessschool-berlin.de/bewerbung-kontakt/, four-step process: contact form, document upload, admission interview, study contract). No rolling deadlines ('ohne Bewerbungsfristen').

Languages of instruction

Primarily German. Approximately 30+ ECTS worth of English-taught courses available per semester; International Business Administration bachelor's programme is bilingual (German/English). German C1 required for German-taught programmes.

Entry requirements, intake dates and language levels differ for every degree.
