About BSP Business and Law School

BSP Business and Law School (Hochschule für Management und Recht) is a private, state-recognised University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, established in early 2010 in Potsdam and relocated to Berlin in 2012. It operates under the motto "Business Class studieren" and organises its programmes across three faculties: Business and Management, Creative Business, and Law. The Law faculty holds university-level (Universität) status for the state-examination programme in Rechtswissenschaft.

The school occupies the landmark-protected Siemens Villa in Berlin-Lankwitz and maintains a second campus in Hamburg's HafenCity district. Admission places emphasis on motivation and aptitude rather than grade thresholds; individual admission interviews are required. All programmes are institutionally accredited by the Wissenschaftsrat (most recently in 2022 for a five-year period) and programme-accredited through AHPGS.

As of WS 2024/25 the school enrolled approximately 1,146 students, of whom roughly 5.6 % hold a foreign passport. The school has over 55 international partner universities and participates in the Erasmus+ programme.
