Admission requirements

Undergraduate (Bachelor): Higher education entrance qualification (Abitur or equivalent), strong English proficiency demonstrated via IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, Pearson, or Duolingo (no minimum scores published; assessed holistically), knowledge and personality assessments, and a 30-minute personal selection interview. No GMAT/GRE required for bachelor's. International applicants from India, China (mainland, HK, Macau), and Vietnam must hold an APS certificate before applying for a German student visa; EBS references this requirement on its apply pages but APS is a visa-stage requirement, not an EBS-internal admission gate. Postgraduate (Master/MBA): Recognised bachelor's degree, English proficiency, GMAT, GRE, EBSgrad, BAT, or CAT score, and (for MBA) proof of relevant work experience. Documents including degree certificates and transcripts must be submitted prior to enrolment.

Application deadlines

EBS states there are no fixed application deadlines and accepts applications on a rolling basis year-round. Recommended submission dates: Fall Term (October start) — by 30 June (general) or 30 May for applicants requiring a German student visa; Spring Term (April start) — by 30 November (general) or 15 October for visa-requiring applicants. Final document submission deadline is the 15th of the month studies commence.
