About Hochschule Koblenz

Hochschule Koblenz is a public university of applied sciences (Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften) in the state of Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. Founded in 1996, it operates across three campuses - RheinMoselCampus in Koblenz, RheinAhrCampus in Remagen, and WesterwaldCampus in Höhr-Grenzhausen - and enrolled approximately 8,622 students in Winter Semester 2024/25. The institution offers more than 70 degree programmes at bachelor's and master's level, spanning engineering, business, social sciences, arts, building technology, and mathematics/computer science.

The university is organised into six faculties covering Engineering; Business Sciences; Building-Art-Materials; Social Sciences; Economics and Social Sciences; and Mathematics, Computer Science, Technology. The Höhr-Grenzhausen campus has historical roots in ceramic and glass education dating to the 19th century, and was formally incorporated when Hochschule Koblenz was renamed from Fachhochschule Koblenz in 2012.

As a Fachhochschule-tradition institution, Hochschule Koblenz combines academic study with applied, practice-oriented learning. It participates in Erasmus+ exchange programmes and maintains an International Office on both the Koblenz and Remagen campuses to support incoming and outgoing students.
