Admissions & fees

What it costs

No tuition fees for bachelor's and consecutive master's programmes at this public university. Semester contribution (Semesterbeitrag) is approximately €155.70 per semester (increasing by €15 from Summer Semester 2026), covering student government (AStA) and Studierendenwerk Vorderpfalz contributions. Rheinland-Pfalz does not charge additional non-EU tuition fees (unlike Baden-Württemberg or Bavaria).

Admission requirements

Applicants need a general university entrance qualification (Abitur), a university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachabitur), a subject-specific entrance qualification, or a professional qualification (vocational training with grade ≥2.5). From Winter Semester 2026/27, international applicants must have their foreign documents pre-verified via uni-assist (VPD valid for Hochschule Worms; processing up to 8 weeks). APS certificate is required for applicants holding qualifications from India, China, or Vietnam. English-taught programmes require B2 English proficiency at minimum; German-taught programmes require recognised German language certification per HRK/KMK framework (exceptions apply for English-track programmes). Erasmus exchange students and applicants with German-earned bachelor's degrees for master's programmes are exempt from uni-assist verification.

Application deadlines

Bachelor (central procedure, e.g. Aviation Management): 15 January for summer semester, 15 July for winter semester. Master programmes (decentralised procedure): 15 December for summer semester, 15 June for winter semester. Cooperative master's (Entrepreneurship): 28/29 February for summer term, 31 August for winter term.

How international applicants apply

Yes - VPD PROCEDURE: Hochschule Worms cooperates with uni-assist using the Vorpruefungsdokumentation variant. Applicants with foreign certificates are first reviewed by uni-assist, which issues a VPD (preliminary review documentation); with that VPD the applicant then applies directly through the university's own application portal (HISinOne/eCampus). The uni-assist detail page for Hochschule Worms states explicitly: 'You will receive a preliminary review documentation (VPD) from us, with which you apply directly to the university.' No hochschulstart DoSV involvement is indicated for international applicants.

Languages of instruction

German-taught core programmes plus several fully English-taught degrees (e.g. International Business Administration track, Entrepreneurship M.A., Global Trade Management) open to students without German skills.

Entry requirements, intake dates and language levels differ for every degree.
