About SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg

SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg is a state-recognised private university operating under the SRH University network, which has unified five previously separate campuses (Berlin, Heidelberg, Fürth, Gera, and Hamm) into one accredited institution with 18 campuses across Germany. The Heidelberg campus is situated on a spacious, green site on the banks of the Neckar river in the Wieblingen district, approximately 10 minutes from Heidelberg main station.

The university network enrolls more than 9,500 students from over 140 countries and offers more than 200 study programmes at bachelor's, master's, MBA, and short-course level. The Heidelberg campus delivers programmes primarily in engineering, computer science, architecture, healthcare, and creative disciplines. Teaching follows the CORE Principle (Competence-Oriented Research and Education), emphasising project-based and practice-oriented learning.

SRH University holds system accreditation from the German Akkreditierungsrat and is recognised by the Wissenschaftsrat. As a private institution, it charges tuition fees for all students; there is no tuition-free option. The Heidelberg campus offers an on-campus hall of residence with approximately 596 one-bedroom flats for students.
