Overview
The WHZ awards Deutschlandstipendium grants each winter semester to determined students of all disciplines, paid out monthly by the university itself under the national scholarship programme act (StipG) and the WHZ awarding rule of 07.08.2024. Every scholarship holder receives EUR 300 per month, half contributed by sponsors (companies, private individuals, associations) and half matched by federal funds. Selection considers academic performance, social engagement and particular personal or family circumstances. Funding runs for two semesters initially, generally no longer than the standard period of study, with annual performance reviews for extensions. Applications are open regardless of age, gender, nationality, income or BAfoeG status.
