Applicants require a German Hochschulzugangsberechtigung (university entrance qualification) or an internationally recognised equivalent. All programmes are German-taught; German C1 is the stated language requirement for incoming/exchange students. Indian, Chinese, and Vietnamese applicants whose prior qualification was obtained in those countries must hold an APS certificate before applying. Programme-specific requirements apply: Social Work and dual programmes require practicum certificates or employer contracts; nursing programmes require health clearance. Applications are handled directly by the university; international applicants should contact the International Office (Sophia Wilczek) for specific admission procedures and deadlines.

There are no application deadlines: applications are reviewed in order of arrival and study places are allocated to suitable applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications are accepted until the respective programme start (October or April) as long as places remain available.
