Admissions & fees

What it costs

This is a private university; tuition fees apply. Bachelor of Science in Psychology: €975 per month (charged throughout the entire programme duration including semester breaks and internship periods). Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy: €1,175 per month. Additional semester contribution (includes student union fees and public-transport semester ticket at Wiesbaden) applies on top of tuition. There is no tuition-free public-university status here.

Admission requirements

Bachelor's: requires a university entrance qualification recognised by the state of Hesse (Abitur, Fachgebundene Hochschulreife, or Fachhochschulreife). Entry is NC-free; applicants are selected on motivation, practical experience, and personal goals via the university's own selection procedure. Vocational routes (master craftsman certificate, or secondary diploma plus vocational training) are also accepted. Master's: a first professional bachelor's degree is required; individual programmes specify additional prerequisites. Language of instruction is German; no explicit language certificate requirements are published, but German proficiency is implicitly required. APS certificate: not mentioned by the institution. Indian, Chinese, and Vietnamese applicants should note the standard APS obligation applies if they hold a German student visa - verify with the German consulate in their country.

Application deadlines

Applications are accepted year-round via the university's online application form; no fixed semester deadlines are published on the official site. Applicants are advised to apply early as intake places are limited per campus.

How international applicants apply

not documented - direct portal only. Application runs exclusively through the university's own online form (charlotte-fresenius-uni.de/bewerbung/) followed by an internal selection procedure including a personal interview; admission requires a Hochschulzugangsberechtigung valid in Hessen (Abitur, fachgebundene HSR, Fachhochschulreife, or vocational routes under the Hessische Hochschulgesetz), NC-free. No official page mentions uni-assist, hochschulstart or any external document-checking service, and no dedicated international-admission procedure is published.

Languages of instruction

German (primary language of instruction). No English-taught programmes listed on the official site.

Entry requirements, intake dates and language levels differ for every degree.
