About Technische Hochschule Ulm

Technische Hochschule Ulm (THU), officially known in English as Ulm University of Applied Sciences, is a public Fachhochschule located in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg. The university offers degree programmes across six faculties covering engineering, computer science, natural sciences, economics, and medical engineering, with a strong emphasis on applied research and close industry collaboration.

THU operates two main teaching campuses in Ulm: the central Prittwitzstraße campus near the city centre and the Albert-Einstein-Allee campus. The university offers 32 degree programmes in total - 21 bachelor's and 11 master's programmes - of which three are taught primarily in English and are specifically designed to attract international students.

As a Fachhochschule in Baden-Württemberg, THU charges non-EU/EEA students a tuition fee of €1,500 per semester, in addition to the standard semester contribution. The university maintains an International Office that supports incoming students with accommodation, orientation, and administrative processes.

Three degree programmes taught primarily in English: B.Sc. Computer Science (CTS), B.Sc. Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (EET), and M.Sc. Intelligent Systems (ISY)
