About WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management
WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management is a private, state-recognised business school founded in 1984 on the initiative of the Koblenz Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It operates two campuses: the main campus in Vallendar (near Koblenz, Rhineland-Palatinate) and a second campus in Düsseldorf. Admission requirements
WHU is a private business school; admission is competitive and programme-specific. For the Bachelor in International Business Administration, applicants must hold a recognised university entrance qualification (Abitur, IB, A-Levels, or equivalent) and demonstrate advanced English proficiency: TOEFL iBT ≥ 95, IELTS Academic ≥ 6.5, or Cambridge C1 Advanced grade C or above. A minimum six-week business-related internship is also required before enrolment. Selection involves written tests and an interview; WHU uses a rolling-rounds system (three rounds per intake year). For Master and MBA programmes, a GMAT or GRE score is typically required - applicants should consult individual programme pages for exact thresholds. Indian applicants whose prior qualification is from an Indian institution must note that WHU is a private institution and the APS certificate is required for the German student visa application regardless; WHU itself does not publish an APS-specific admission policy, but the German embassy will require APS for Indian, Chinese, and Vietnamese nationals as part of the visa process.

How international applicants apply
No uni-assist processing. WHU handles admissions itself: candidates apply directly through WHU's online application (holistic selection: academics, motivation, interview; TOEFL/IELTS/Cambridge English proof; 6 weeks work experience for bachelor). WHU's own admissions guidance tells international applicants to use uni-assist's free 'check university admission' tool only to self-check their eligibility to study in Germany - it is not an application channel.
Languages of instruction
All WHU degree programmes are taught in English, or in a combination of English and German. The Bachelor in International Business Administration is offered in English or in a bilingual English/German track. Master and MBA programmes are English-taught. No German-only degree programme is offered.

Living in Vallendar
The main Campus Vallendar is located in a small town on the Rhine near Koblenz in Rhineland-Palatinate.
