Admissions & fees

What it costs

accadis is a private university of applied sciences and charges tuition fees (unlike Germany's tuition-free public universities); detailed Bachelor's and Master's fee schedules are published by accadis as downloadable PDFs. Exact amounts and any registration/semester contribution were not stated in plain text on the official pages reviewed, so they are not reproduced here to avoid inaccuracy.

Admission requirements

For Master's programmes, applicants need a Bachelor's degree with at least 180 ECTS credits; most M.Sc./M.A. programmes expect a business- or management-related Bachelor's, while some M.A. programmes accept non-business backgrounds. The MBA requires a Bachelor's degree (180+ ECTS) in any field plus at least two years of work experience. English-language proof is required for English-taught programmes: IELTS Academic 6.5+, TOEFL iBT 80+, PTE Academic 56+, or Duolingo English Test 120+. Applicants whose undergraduate degree was completed in English (or who are first-language English speakers from English-speaking countries) may be exempt. The official entry-requirements page does not state German-language requirements or an APS-certificate requirement; Indian, Chinese and Vietnamese applicants should note that an APS certificate is generally required for the German student visa regardless, and should confirm specifics with the university.

Application deadlines

One intake per year in October. For the October intake, non-EU applicants who need a visa must apply by June 15; EU applicants and applicants not requiring a visa apply by September 1. Applications are reviewed year-round on a rolling basis, so early application is recommended.

How international applicants apply

Direct application - no uni-assist. accadis uses its own online application process documented on international-students.accadis.com (how-to-apply): online application, document review, personal interview. One intake per year in October; rolling review with non-EU visa applicants applying by June 15 and EU/no-visa applicants by September 1. English-taught Master's/MBA programmes require proof such as IELTS 6.5+, TOEFL iBT 80+, PTE 56+ or Duolingo 120+.

Languages of instruction

Programmes are offered in German and English; accadis runs a range of English-taught international Master's programmes (e.g. International Management M.A., Finance M.Sc., Global Marketing Management M.A., Global Sports Management M.A., Global Business Management M.A.) as well as an English-taught MBA.

Entry requirements, intake dates and language levels differ for every degree.
